COVID-19 response- 16th July 2021

Dear Patients and Families,

Following the announcement of the snap lockdown in Melbourne and all of Victoria, Lavrin and Lawrence Orthodontics will be temporarily closing our doors to the public. At this stage, we will be closed from Friday 16th July until Tuesday 20th July.

If your appointment has been affected, we will be contacting you in due course to reschedule your appointment. All other appointments that are not affected by the snap lockdown will continue and we will make sure to notify you of any changes.

We have a virtual treatment coordinator and orthodontist who can get you started along your smile journey from home. You can either try our free online assessment or online consultation.

For any emergencies, please phone us to discuss and we will advise on the best course of action.

COVID-19 response- 27th May 2021

Dear Patients and Families,

Following the announcement of a seven-day lockdown in Melbourne and all Victoria, Lavrin and Lawrence Orthodontics will be temporarily closing our doors to the public, this will take place as of 17:30pm Thursday 27th May. We are hopeful we can re-open on Friday 4th June pending government advice.

If your appointment has been affected, we will be contacting you in due course to reschedule your appointment. All other appointments that are not affected by the seven-day lockdown will continue and we will make sure to notify you of any changes.

Any new patients who would like to book an appointment, you can still do so via our free online assessment or online consultation. We have a Virtual Treatment Coordinator who can get you started with your smile journey.

Dear Patients,

Following the announcement made this morning by the Premier, we are pleased to inform you that we can resume seeing patients on Thursday 18th February.

We would like to remind you that we have all infection control measures in place so you can feel assured that attending your appointment is safe.

COVID-19 response- 17th September 2020

Dear patients and families,

We are pleased to inform you that the Victorian government has announced that we can resume seeing patients on Monday 28^th September. There will still be some restrictions in place including aerosol generating procedures however many of our appointments can proceed.

Please bear with us over the next weeks as we try to accommodate all our patients in an orderly fashion. As you can imagine, we have many patients to see and your understanding, patience and respect would be appreciated. We are trying to be as fair as we can. Our reception team will be contacting you in the future to make the necessary arrangements.

We are incredibly excited to see all our patients and we look forward to continuing your orthodontic journey. We would like to remind you that we have all infection control measures in place so you can feel assured that attending your appointment is safe.

COVID-19 response- 6th August 2020

To our Orthodontic Family,

Due to the escalating COVID-19 cases in Metropolitan Melbourne and the current Level 3 Dental restrictions which mandate emergency dental treatment only, we have closed our clinic to physical patient appointments from Thursday 6 th August 2020.

This is in an effort to curtail non-essential trips out of your homes and in turn help control the pandemic spread of COVID-19. We are monitoring the situation closely and will re-open when regulators deem it safe to do so.

If your appointment has been affected, we will be contacting you in due course and rescheduling your appointment when we reopen.

Our reception will remain open to ensure you are well supported during this difficult time. As a team we are also still working remotely and virtually to attend to your needs.

Patients currently undergoing Invisalign treatment via the Dental Monitoring app will continue as usual.

New patient consultations and recall appointments can be carried out virtually free of charge.
